Not sure if it comes out as whining, but I'd like an official clock. Usually on the proboards stranded forums, I get one next to the title of the quick reply form and that helps me do the math and post shit in refference to the australian time. Especially now since I'm supposed to talk about my availability on the weekend I wouldn't want to mess with the closed ID and talk about my exact timezone even though I won't be able to hide the fact that I'm european. Also, is ID guessing (as long as it's done in private) considered bad as much as it is in the classic stranded format or coud that be some fun game I play with myself in order to pass some time?  |

Not whining at all! I've added a series of time-zones to the header of the board so that should help with any/all time-zone references.
ID guessing is fine in here.

So your addon to the rules gave me an idea. For fun I created a death match 1 solver: www.backslash.ro/genius-hap.phpThe point is to fill each field with a code of 4 characters representing the shape. First character represents the number, second the shabe (r/o/s for rhombus / oval / squid), third the color (rgb) and third the shading (0/1/2 for empty, shaded, full). Press go and you have the correct answers. Yes. The exact point of the post was to discourage you doing exactly what you just did Think as if you were playing this game with your friends or family, (And it is a real board game called SET) how would they feel about you using this program on your phone while playing with them. You're a smart guy You can do them on your own. |

I usually think of this games as something I play with a bunch of complete strangers for a huge amount of money (even if I'm not) so by default I consider that what is not against the rules is within the rules (as did once Russell Hantz).
But don't worry, I'm a fair guy so no means no, I don't want my supreme victory in this to be tainted in any way.

I getcha Totally understand, and in any other ORG I'd be right there with you, fair game is fair game, anyone can use any skills they can to get ahead. But in this game I'm definitely trying to match the show's authenticity above all else. Get the feel of the show just right. And that means brains only. |

Ok so I remember you mentioning at one point that you will make some recap in the middle of the season and that combined with this post is starting to worry me. Exactly what do you intend to use and not use in those recaps because I did talk a bit of shit and strategy about some people in my episode confessionals and I wouldn't want them to read that before the end |

As I said in the DM thread, the first episode will be recapped after the 6th round is complete.
There will be snippets from both confessionals and PM's, but it will be mostly "here is the series of events and colour commentary". Anything like smack talk or anything that is very opinion-y generally won't be used unless it's particularly entertaining and non-damaging.
I'm not out to ruin anyone's game, but the facts will be presented as best as I can tell them.

I'm gonna trust you. My main worry is for people not to know that myself, Ahyoung, Dongmin and Kyunghoon have been running a Richard Hatch kind of ring - though I'm not sure exactly how much of a secret that is anymore. But most importantly, Dongmin and Kyunghoon should not know I've had my inner circle with Ahyoung  |
