As we approach the halfway point of the game I will post my thoughts on the remaining contestants (and also I feel kinda guilty that these are all so empty but I blame my "co-hosts" ) AhyoungIf I had to pick someone who is playing the best right now it would be Ahyoung. She is reminding me a lot of the real Kyungran, always keeping herself safe and surrounded by allies and never truly alienating anyone beyond repair. She was most vulnerable when she was starting her vendetta against the Strawberries but now that the threat of them has subsided with Yoonsun/Yuram being eliminated she is definitely the MVP to a lot of people. She is really playing phenomenally and to be given the immunity here is a big thing for her. It's just a matter of whether this power goes to her head, or whether someone decides to cut her down. But at the moment she is sitting pretty to make it through unless she has some terrible luck in a Main Match. JinhoA second huge win for Jinho has really put him on the map. I think the wins with only 1 or 2 people will really stick out in people's minds and so I can see people gunning for him soon. He's loyal to a lot of people but he's also expendable so I can see him being left out of the loop very suddenly in the next couple of rounds. It will be up to him to soldier through and either win the matches or make someone a bigger target HongchulHongchul has done a good job of making an in with most people without actually being seen as doing so. He has performed middling to poor in most Main Matches, although still has good showings to prove that he's capable of being a good ally. Additionally he has faced a Death Match without actually losing/being picked, so he has that stigma to detract from his threat presence without any of the real flak for it. I can see Hongchul making the final 3 here fairly easily. Probably the most well rounded game of the cast but not excelling in anything. KyunghoonKyunghoon remains to be the wild card. Nobody seems 100% sure of him at any time and he often seems to get left out of plans, but he is seen as a non-threat overall. The only player yet to win a Main Match, but with two Death Matches under his belt could be a surprise contender if they let him get too near the end as he could brute force his way into the finals. KyungranIf anyone is contesting Hongchul for most well rounded game it's Kyungran. She has made no enemies and has solidly avoided the spotlight. She's been successful in winning two main matches but also hasn't been the focus of anyone for a target. She's not leading the charge like Ahyoung/Dongmin are but she's always there and in the mix. I would say she's playing a less visible Ahyoung game, and this could probably end up working in her favor. I think she's in the best position to make the Final 2. SunggyuSunggyu has the Strawberry stigma still about him but he could turn into a scrappy underdog now that his allies have been cut one by one. If Eunji goes here I can see him being a prime candidate to help someone flip the tables once again. One of three players to never go into the Death Match (along with Kyungran and Ahyoung) Sunggyu has done a good job of staying out of the spotlight, which is doubly impressive considering he has the most Main Match wins of anybody. If he gets a foothold he could win this whole thing. DongminDongmin I feel is not going to come out of this Death Match. In general I think Eunji has an edge in all Death Matches but I also think that she has the killer instinct here where Dongmin could play it safe. I also am not sure of where his place in the game is. He appears to be a solid ally of Ahyoung and have his fingers in a lot of pies but I also think he has crafted an image of himself as a threat and that could see him being sent into the DM again ahead of Ahyoung should he survive this one. EunjiMy money is on Eunji to win this, as I said before. I think she's got her head screwed on tight and will be the right amount of focused without getting too into her own head whereas Dongmin could trip himself up. They both had similar stats, only a single win before now and both never having been in the Death Match before. I don't think Eunji or Dongmin will be able to make it to the finals from here but I will gladly be proven wrong. Predictions! 8th: Dongmin 7th: Jinho 6th: Eunji 5th: Ahyoung 4th: Kyunghoon 3rd: Hongchul 2nd: Sunggyu 1st: Kyungran
