Congratulations on lasting through to the 7th round!

What do you make of Eunji and Dongmin being in the Death Match? Do you have a preference as to who stays?

How did you feel about the Main Match? Did you enjoy yourself? Did you feel your strategy came together?

With the Garnet counts increasing exponentially, is there anything worrying about who has the most/least?

Woohoo! I made it past the halfway point

This was probably my favourite Main Match so far. It was easy to understand, difficult to master, and paced perfectly such that there was time to think about and discuss options while the game kept progressing.

Jinho beat me by one chip in the end, but I think I was the true winner of the Horror Race. My two characters (and only my two) finished in first and second place! I earned the most garnets and didn't have to make the tricky decision of who to give the extra Token of Life to. I felt very confident that Eunji wouldn't pick me for the Death Match, so it really couldn't have gone any better for me.

Once again Hongchul and Ahyoung agreed with my proposed strategy - this time being that we select three characters as a group and share one of these with each of the other two of us. I did this for two reasons:
1) It locked them into each sharing a common interest with me, significantly reducing the chance of them abandoning or turning on me.
2) It allowed us to work together for an outcome that benefitted the whole group, while not depleting the pool of our characters to draw from.

I also shared my selections with Dongmin and he and I had both chosen the Gumiho, so there was some fortunate overlap there. Actually, it may have been less fortunate and more intentional. Dongmin and Hongchul chose the same two characters, which after last round's Token of Life sharing I think is unlikely to be a coincidence. Because of this I am pleased that Eunji won the Death Match, but I am sad to see Dongmin go.

Looking ahead, I need to try to have a more open line of communication with Jinho and Kyunghoon. They're the two people I want to see eliminated next, but there are no guarantees and as the numbers decrease the importance of those remaining relationships increase. Ahyoung and Jinho appear to be close, which concerns me. In fact, I think Ahyoung may be the best positioned person in the game now.

As for Garnets, I have the second most so am not too concerned either way. I expect the next Death Match will rely on them more than ever before. Could we even be looking at a Garnet Match?! I wish, but I doubt it.
