I will now introduce the 8th Main Match
In Minus Auction, there will be an auction of minus numbers and the player with the lowest minus number will win (The number closest to 0)
Number panels ranging from -3 to -35 will be auctioned.
Player turn order will be randomly decided.
Each player will start the game with 9 chips and these chips will be used when declining to bid.
Minus number panels will be drawn randomly and put up for auction one at a time.
When a number panel is drawn, players will bid a number in their confessional as to how many chips they are willing to spend to avoid taking the panel.
When you take a number panel you will also receive the chips used to pass on the panel to use in future bids.
Then the next auction will begin and a new number panel will be drawn and revealed. The auction will then continue starting with the previous buyer.
When all the number panels have been auctioned off, the minus numbers you bought will be added up. You will also receive +1 point for each remaining chip when calculating your final score.
So for example if the numbers you bought were -17 and -20 and you had 5 chips remaining, your final score would be -32.
However, if you bought consecutive minus numbers, only the number with the lowest absolute value will be included.
For example if you had the -4 and -5 number panels along with the -17, -18, -19 and -20 and 3 chips, only -4 and -17 would remain. The total score including the chips would then be -18.
By using this, you could minimize your minus number even after taking a lot of number panels. However, there is something you must be careful of.
Garnets play a very important role in this Main Match.
Before the auction begins, two number panels between -3 and -35 will be hidden and won't be put up for auction.
The first hidden panel will be completely removed and won't be revealed until the game ends.
However, the second hidden panel will be put up for a Garnet auction after the 17th auction. The player who wins this auction may check the number and decide whether to include it in the auction.
Number panels and chips may not be given to others.
Additionally, Garnets may be used to supplement chips. Before the Garnet Auction, any Garnets spent in this way will be won by the player who takes the panel, the same as chips. After the Garnet Auction however, Garnets can only be used if you run out of Chips. Garnets used in this method are removed from the game.
The players with the lowest minus score at the end will win Tokens of Life and the player with the highest minus score will be the elimination candidate. If there is a sole winner they will receive two Tokens of Life.
The winner/s will receive 5 Garnets. Every player other than the elimination candidate will receive 2 garnets.
