Episode 8 - Minus Auction

All decisions to be made during Minus Auction will be done so in here.

As with all Main Matches:
Any garnets will be removed immediately after use.
To exchange garnets, simply declare your intention to do so in the current game thread in your confessional.
Your public total will not be revealed until after the Main Match is completed, meaning that you can keep garnet purchases and exchanges a secret, provided their effects are not made public.


Purchases are only valid if you have the garnets to afford them.

I bought No Thanks after seeing this on The Genius and got quite a few plays in over the easter break with friends I went away with. I tended to do pretty well. However, the rule tweaks here change it quite a lot.

I'm thinking I will bid garnets early on so that I don't lose chips while others do. Getting an early chip lead can be crucial. Since this strategy will rule me out of contention for the garnet auction I'll try to avoid gaps as much as possible.
