I will now introduce the 10th Death Match
Yutnori is a game played on this board with these sticks. With the aim of getting both of your pieces to cross the finish line.
Each stick has an XXX side and a blank side. Players move their tokens 1 space for every blank side showing. If only XXX sides are showing, they move 5 Spaces. If there is only 1 blank tile, they move 1 space backwards.
Each player is trying to get their two tokens to travel around the board and reach the starting position in the bottom right. Moving backwards onto the starting point counts as finishing.
If a token lands exactly on any of the corners or the center space, they may take the detour/shortcut through the inner spaces. Otherwise they must move around the outer edge.
If your token lands on another player's token you may capture it, sending it off the board to start again. If your token lands on your own piece, you can opt to join them so that they may move together, but they will be captured together as well.
However this game will not be played 1v1. You will each select a player to assist you. This can be someone in the game or an eliminated player.
All 4 players will have 2 pieces each, but the partner's pieces are only used to aid in the game and do not affect the result even if they pass the finish line.
On each turn of Tactical Yutnori, you and your partner will confer as to which sticks to throw out. Either 2 XXX sticks, 2 Blank sticks or 1 of each.
Both pair's choices will be revealed and the player whose turn it is will move one of their tokens the appropriate number of spaces.
If all four sticks are the same (All XXX's or All Blank) the player will get to store that turn and roll again. There is no limit to the number of stored turns a player can have. When a player has finished rolling they may use their turns in any order.
The first player to have both of their tokens reach the starting point wins. The other is eliminated.
