Okay, so if Eunji moves a new piece 2 or 3, I'll do OO and then decide which piece to move. I'm considering getting my old piece off the board as I don't want to be protecting two pieces. If she moves her current piece 3, I'm definitely moving my older piece off the board, as in that position it's too difficult to keep both pieces safe if I move my new one along. If she moves her current piece 2, then I'll do OO and move the newer piece 2 or 3. Her moving 2 is my ideal scenario. But I don't want to risk XX on her turn because I can't have her getting a new piece on that corner which is only 2 away from me. So she's most likely moving backwards or moving 3? If she moves backwards onto the middle I'm actually quite screwed if I don't get 2 to get her out, because of the rules of the corners. If I move my new piece 3 she could move 'backwards' onto me, or if I go OO to stop her doing that, she could go 4-3 and get either piece. In which case, what is my best move if she goes backwards? It might actually be XX? Either I move 2, awesome, get XXXX, awesome, or go one backwards...which might be my best defensive position? I already started writing a post covering some of these facts and ideas when someone told me that the internet went down and all went to hell for the following hours. I'm sorry I couldn't bet a part of the end of this. But I'm glad you've managed to deal the finishing blow.

No problem, I may have taken longer than strictly necessary due to misremembering some rules, but I still got there And thanks for all your help, I wouldn't have been in such a good position in the first place without you
