As with all Main Matches:
Any garnets will be removed immediately after use.
To exchange garnets, simply declare your intention to do so in the current game thread.
Your public total will not be revealed until after the Main Match is completed, meaning that you can keep garnet purchases and exchanges a secret, provided their effects are not made public.

Btw I should mention you aren't allowed to give Garnets away while you're in the Death Match, once they've been selected the Garnets are locked so if you want to rephrase you can.
