How did you find Zombie Game? Did your strategy come together? Have you noticed particular groupings amongst the cast?My strategy did NOT come together because Jinho wasn't honest with me from the start like he should have been
If he had told me straight up we could have worked something out together to our mutual benefit. If it had been me I would have told Dongmin, and maybe Jinho as well, straight away. You need at least one person who you can trust in these games. And Jinho should have picked me for that. Unless he's closer with someone else. I'm not 100% on that. He told me to take the cure after we touched but I didn't look at the message quickly enough, and in any case I would have preferred being a zombie at that point because I felt like it would be too difficult to stay clean the whole game after having already used my cure. Obv I then told Dongmin because I tell Dongmin everything
But he was already a zombie at that point and I wasn't quick enough to pick up on the fact that he touched Yuram to save him
Oh well, we're both safe, so it all worked out!
Like I've said previously, the strawberries are an obvious group (Sunggyu, Yoonsun, Eunji, Yuram). And they seem loyal to each other, while the rest of us are a mess. We need a leader, but that's not my style. I'm not a controlling person, I can't get people to follow my orders. I just like to get close to a few but especially to the leader, so I have enough sway to get my way if I really want it, but no one really notices me too much. But it's not working here because we need to unite and none of us is up for it. Dongmin is our only hope, and I would be his trusted second in command. We're trying to work on people to make them understand the threat but I just don't think these people are going to wake up and see it. We're thinking the two of us, Kyungran, Kyunghoon/Jungyun, maybe Jinho. But...we just can't really trust them completely. We're the only ones who see what's happening (or at least the only ones talking about it) and it's mind boggling. Like, Dongmin is talking to Kyunghoon and he is just too obsessed with his personal vendettas instead of seeing the big picture here, that we're all screwed if we don't do something about it.
And apparently Eunji has now started a group chat with the grapes as well which is just like...these people do not need more influence, seriously. I need Dongmin to get the grapes in line and make sure they don't follow Eunji. I would be going INSANE in this game if it weren't for Dongmin, he is my one saving grace. If it turns out he was never with me it would crush me. But...so unlikely. That's a lot of effort just to fool someone.
Actually, I was typing this during the wrap party but now that that has concluded I have some more positive responses.
I didn't tell anyone that you knew I was a zombie. And it's best if you keep it a secret as well because it makes you look like a victim in this rather than the one who knowingly turned another one.
I have no reply from Yuram but Dogmin is pretty convinced that she told the other strawberries and that's how they knew very well how to take the cure and end up humans in the end. I haven't had time to check out that scenario but I will do it after this wrap party to see if it checks out. If it does, we'll have to be wary of Yuram and the strawberries.
So yeah, we're both pretending like I never knew anything about him being a zombie. That way it looks like we're not close, but also then people don't know I was lying to them when I was trying to touch them

But MORE IMPORTANTLY, he seems to finally be acknowledging the threat of the strawberries. I said this to him at the end of the second round but he was skeptical. I guess with the two of us saying it now, maybe he's starting to see it. Although he doesn't seem to realise Dongmin and I are close, which is strange because I specifically told him that last round (I wanted us to be a trio). I guess he forgot, or he's pretending to. He said he wants to wait until 'next round' to do something about it though and I'm like, next round as in F10 which is what we're trying to organise here anyway (me and Dongmin), or next round as in F9? Idk. Seems silly to wait until F9, they'll have 4/9 by then and we're just getting them closer to outright majority.
I mean, I know in a game like the Genius it shouldn't really matter as much if there's a really solid group or if they have majority, compared to Survivor, because the others can still pick one of you for the DM most of the time. Very lucky to get a joint win with that many (like the real Zombie Game
). But people AREN'T DOING THAT, and that's what's frustrating. I would probably pick Yuram or Yoonsun, most likely the latter. I think Sunggyu or Eunji would beat me
The other two could be quite intelligent as well, but I haven't seen seen evidence of it so I'd be more willing to go against them.
My thoughts are all jumbled right now, this probably isn't going to be a very cohesive confessional. Back to my PMs-
Yeah, I mentioned it to him. He seemed a bit unsure, but hopefully if both of us are saying the same thing he'll agree. Got very encouraging responses from Hongchul and Kyungran now, I think they're both open to it... NOW WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT TO SEE WHAT SUNDAY BRINGS

So this is promising as well. Me, Dongmin, Jinho, Hongchul, Kyungran and maybe Junghyun? YES PLEASE! This is exactly what we need to be doing and what Dongmin and I have been talking about since the end of round 1, I believe? I was already super suspicious of the strawberries after the way they worked together in that game, I knew it would create a strong bond.
Oh I just remembered, another troubling thing...why did Jinho get a garnet from Sunggyu? He said-
Sunggyu gave me one, I have no idea why. I had 4 before that and now I have 5. I didn't get to talk a lot to him about what he would want in exchange.
Ummm, wtf? Did he work with them last week to make me get the blackouts? Was Sunggyu trying to butter him up for a future pay off? Idk. I don't like it, that's all I know. But...I do think he was being honest with me about telling only me that he was a zombie. I just need to try not to be paranoid, and trust him. Also, I need to study the garnets after this death match, but it seems like Yoonsun and Sunggyu both chipped in with 1 garnet to buy Eunji her second cure? From a quick glance, I haven't calculated yet. Oh, and with Jinho getting his from Sunggyu, that means Hongchul gave both Kyunghoon and Junghyun garnets? Obviously Junghyun and Hongcuhul are close, they both told me that, but Kyunghoon...he doesn't like either of them. Hmmmm. I know he hated Hyunmin most of all, so perhaps he agreed to help Hongchul in exchange for a garnet.
How do you feel about Junghyun and Kyunghoon in the Death Match? Do you have a preference who wins?It's not ideal. Would've of course preferred one of the other four I mentioned earlier, but...they probably would've just beaten Junghyun anyway. I'm not sure he quite understands these games well enough? Although people probably think the same of me because I play dumb. It's just easier for me, because let's be honest, it comes naturally. But maybe I shouldn't because people might see me as an easy DM opponent. On the other hand, if I seem smart, people will want me to lose so I'm in the DM in the first place. Ugh, there's no winning. ANYWAY, I guess I'd prefer Junghyun to win because Kyunghoon is a loose cannon and who knows if he'll follow me and Dongmin like we need, whereas I feel like I have at least somewhat of a connection with Junghyun, if tenuous, and he seems more likely to just fall into line. Dongmin suspects that Junghyun & Hongchul have a connection with Sunggyu though...I'll need to look into that.
