Considering the fact that a double blank could help you capture Kyungran with the second piece, I am ok with it.

Ugh damn it. I didn't think they'd risk me getting another turn. I think move a new piece here? If Kyungran gets 2 next turn, she might go for me instead of going for the corner. Which is good for me because then on my next turn, I can get her whether I move 2 or 3, so it kind of makes her waste a turn? Though I suppose it does the same for me. You could also get her easily. Although you having both pieces on the board may not be ideal? Not sure.

I would go for new piece as well. First of all, as you said, this will tempt Kyungran to aim for two instead of running away with her first piece. It may not be ideal to have her capture you but as long as her pieces are near the start, we can do all kinds of things to sabotage her either with or pieces or with Eunji's.
And even if she does try to get away with her existing piece, then your second one can join the hunt along with mine.
Besides, as long as your first piece is not outside of the board yet, Eunji seems tempted to keep following it. And that is a waste of her turns because as long as we keep throwing one of each for her, you are 100% safe for at least one turn and all it takes is a double blank for your turn to get your piece to safety if she gets too close.

One of each for Kyungran or do you feel like being creative?

Either one of each or 2 Xs. What do you think?

I think that if I were her I would go for one of each because that would mean I can capture your piece if we throw one of each as well as if we go for double X. The only risk for her would be us going for double blank, but even that would be cool because she would unite her pieces which right now seems like the only reasonable chance she has of still winning.
As for us, we should go for what makes her win less on this move. One of each from us could mean she gets a second piece out there and also captures you. Double blank means she unites her pieces. Double X means she captures you with her existing piece. Of them all, the best call seems like the double X. And it's really unlikely for her to go for double X again since she can't gain all that much from it and shouldn't expect us to throw that as well.

She could actually gain a lot from doing double X though, if she figures that I will too. She'll get the extra turn out of it, and then could pretty safely assume I'll do one of each to stop her from getting a second extra turn. So she could then combine her pieces and move forward 5 with them together. If she gets that far ahead with both, that's very bad for me.
I don't want her to unite her pieces, and I don't mind so much if she gets my piece at the start. Because I still have the possibility of getting her afterwards. I think the best thing that could happen is she goes backwards one, as she then only has one on there which shouldn't be too difficult to catch. Or if not that, she captures my piece with her second piece and one of us can get her pretty easily. Those are the best case scenarios, right? What else is better than that to happen?

Yeah, under these circumstances, I think going one step back is the best thing. It's a matter of luck. A double X from us would make it most likely for that step backwards to happen but the risk is pretty great as well. I guess we could go for one of each again and not take as many chances.

What is actually good for her right now? No move is particularly great. Getting 3 and combining her pieces puts her at risk of you getting both with a backwards move or forward 3. Can't block both. 2 means she could get me or go on the corner, but we can still get her from there. Then a backwards move would be worst. So...nothing really is good, apart from trying to get an extra turn and move away further. So if I were her I wouldn't put down one of each, I'd go doubles. I mean she could consider 2 to be a good move, but if she gets that, I think I'm okay with it, whichever option she chooses? And if she moves 3, I'm really hoping you can get her.

Yeah but would she really put double X and risk just moving one back? I guess she could. If you want to be safe, I guess the good ol' one of each would be best.

Bandage ManDouble X for my turn. If get an extra turn, my next throw will be one of each. If not, I will move my existing piece.

Ahyoung, there's a reasoning for this last move but I'm too sleepy now for winging all here
